THRILLS, SPILLS AND HIJINKS ON THE UP POMPEII TRIATHLON

For their 2017 charity challenge, once again, Mr Jeremy Ockrim will be leading a group of intrepid adventures to support  The Parnell Fund  on their quest in raising awareness and funds for those suffering from urological conditions.

Following the success of last years “All Roads Lead to Rome Challenge” this year we have decided to up the antae and embark on a truly alterative triathlon style challenge “Up Pompeii Triathlon Challenge”.

This time will see Ockrims Olympians being joined by participants from the business, legal and medical world in one of the toughest triathlon challenges known to mankind but in order to really put the pressure on, they will be replacing:

SWIMMING – with white water rafting as they hurtle through the rapids …..hold on tight as we embark on the ultimate white-knuckle ride

RUNNING – with hiking approximately 1,200 m (3,937 ft) above sea-level to summit Mount Vesuvius.  The most dangerous and only active volcano in mainland Europe

CYCLING – with a challenging 130km diverse cycle challenge over the mountainous ranges and long, twisting foothills which make up the Amalfi coast as we ride dramatic corniche roads down to the stunning azure-blue coast – every day brings a different Italian flavour and a new challenge!
